Job summary

Lam Research Corporation in the United States is seeking a Factory Production Planning (FPP) professional to own the factory production plan, balancing demand, capacity, and constraints to ensure on-time delivery and operational efficiency.

You will align global targets with site capacity, work with Global Production Planning, Manufacturing, Supply Chain and Logistics, and drive early trade-offs and plan integrity to keep the network predictable and responsive.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Operations, Engineering, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• Proven experience in production planning, manufacturing operations, or global supply chain planning.
• Strong understanding of S&OP, capacity planning, and production planning frameworks.
• Demonstrated ability to manage plans in highly constrained, fast-changing environments.
• Experience with enterprise planning systems and data tools (e.g., SAP, CRM, Kinaxis, Power BI).
• APICS/ASCM CPIM or CSCP certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Owns and governs the integrated production and capacity plan.
• Balance demand, capacity, and constraints to deliver feasible plans.
• Collaborate with Global Production Planning, Manufacturing, Supply Chain and Logistics.
• Identify risks and make clear trade-off decisions before issues reach execution forums.
• Improve capacity utilization and efficiency by treating capacity as a shared enterprise asset.
• Ensure data integrity and disciplined version-to-version plan management.
