The Systems Planning organization within Global Order Fulfillment is at the center of Lam’s ability to deliver predictable, scalable, and responsive operations. By bringing together planning, manufacturing, supply chain, and logistics, Systems Planning ensures that customer demand is translated into clear, executable outcomes across the global factory network.
The Global Operations Group brings information systems, facilities, supply chain, logistics, and high-volume manufacturing together to drive the engine of our global business operations. We help Lam deliver industry-leading solutions with speed and efficiency, while actively supporting the resilient and profitable growth of Lam's business.
The Factory Production Planning (FPP) role is the single accountable owner of the factory production plan, responsible for balancing demand, capacity, and constraints to deliver an executable plan that supports on-time customer delivery and operational efficiency.
FPP translates global production targets and demand signals into realistic factory plans by aligning manufacturing capacity, resource availability, and business priorities. Acting as the critical link between strategic planning and factory execution, FPP ensures plans are feasible, stable, and achievable while providing clear visibility to risks, constraints, and mitigation actions.
Working closely with Global Production Planning (GPP), Manufacturing, Supply Chain, and Logistics, FPP drives informed trade‑off decisions across capacity, volume, product mix, and factory loading to optimize network performance and support customer commitments. The role governs production planning assumptions, maintains plan integrity, and ensures transparent communication of plan changes, risks, and impacts.
Success in this role requires strong analytical skills, business acumen, and the ability to influence cross‑functional stakeholders while enabling faster decision‑making, improved schedule stability, and disciplined execution across the manufacturing network.
In this role, you will directly influence Lam’s ability to deliver predictably at scale in a highly constrained and dynamic manufacturing environment. By owning and governing the integrated production and capacity plan, you will:
