Job summary

MilliporeSigma seeks a seasoned leader to drive external bioprocessing partnerships, accelerating innovations alongside Process Solutions. You will oversee global collaborations with pharma customers, academics, and industry networks, reporting to the VP, Process Solutions Innovation.

This role may be placed in Darmstadt, Germany or Burlington, USA, and requires building a high-performing, delivery-focused team.

Qualifications

• 10+ years’ experience leading medium- to large scale global tech/business organizations.
• Proven global team leadership, hiring and retention.
• Deep technical understanding of biomanufacturing workflows.

Responsibilities

• Lead a global org building relationships with academic institutions, industry consortia, customers, and KOLs in bioprocessing.
• Mentor a high-performing team with empowerment, quality, and delivery discipline.
• Liaise with KOLs to gather insights and validate research directions.
• Cultivate external partnerships to co-create future pharma manufacturing solutions.
• Collaborate with academic institutions and think-tanks to co-develop novel tech.
• Organize and lead scientific advisory boards to drive collaboration and strategy.
