Job summary

Sycomp is seeking an experienced Export Logistics Manager to lead compliant and efficient international shipping operations. The role oversees export execution, documentation accuracy, trade compliance, and relationships with brokers and freight forwarders in a high-value technology environment.

The position is hybrid, with 3 days onsite in the Union City area, CA, and requires a strong background in export controls, HTS/ECCN classifications, and complex international logistics for technology

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
10+ years in export logistics, global shipping, freight forwarding, customs docs, or trade compliance.

Responsibilities

Manage export shipments across air, ocean, and ground transportation.
Ensure compliance with export regulations, sanctions screening, customs requirements, and customer-specific shipping requirements.
Review and validate export documentation, including invoices, packing lists, certificates of origin, export declarations, and shipping docs.
Coordinate with Trade Compliance, Logistics, Warehouse Operations, carriers, brokers, and customers to resolve shipment and compliance issues.
Maintain audit-ready records and support KPI reporting and process improvement.
