Job summary

The Walt Disney Company (France) seeks a visionary Director, Global Export Controls & Technical Governance to lead the enterprise-wide export control framework, ensuring regulatory defensibility and scalable governance across all regions.

This executive role oversees a centralized control tower, partner tracks, and collaboration with legal and integrity teams to safeguard the company’s global operations and technology transfers.

Qualifications

• 15+ years directing export compliance frameworks and global trade compliance.
• Leadership experience managing software lifecycles and multi-function teams.
• Comprehensive knowledge of EAR, OFAC sanctions, and technology transfer protocols.

Responsibilities

• Formulate and execute the long-term enterprise export controls strategy and governance standards.
• Govern the Hub-and-Spoke matrix model with standardized KPIs and compliance metrics.
• Mandate the global systemic screening of suppliers, vendors, and customers enterprise-wide.
• Provide strategic leadership to the export control tower and oversee automation programs.
• Partner with IC@D to interpret export control changes and translate into enterprise standards.
