Job summary

3M is seeking an Export Consolidation Execution Analyst to optimize global freight flows from purchase to finished products at our California site. You will oversee load planning, order allocation, booking coordination, and container execution onsite, ensuring efficient, cost‑effective operations.

You will analyze costs, monitor variances, and maintain ERP/WMS/TMS data while supporting transitions from third‑party operators and driving cost‑per‑container reductions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher completed and verified prior to start.
• 7+ years of supply chain experience in lieu of a bachelor’s degree.
• Three years in logistics, warehousing, or supply chain operations.
• One year of hands‑on experience with warehouse management systems (WMS).
• SAP or ERP experience preferred.
• Familiarity with ocean consolidation centers, drayage, or export logistics is highly preferred.
• Exposure to continuous improvement methodologies (Lean, Six Sigma) preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to operate independently on‑site.

Responsibilities

• Develop production plans, perform risk assessments, and conduct warehouse audits.
• Lead projects to ensure just‑in‑time material flow from purchase to finished products.
• Provide transportation support to plants, product divisions, branches, and distribution centers.
• Collaborate with carrier personnel to meet service requirements and analyze routing and distribution methods.
• Manage daily consolidation center operations: load planning, order allocation, booking coordination, container execution.
• Oversee cost controls, site variances, and pre‑approved spend limits.
• Maintain system accuracy across ERP, WMS, and TMS platforms.
• Support knowledge transfer during transition from third‑party operators.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives focused on cost‑per‑container reduction.
