Amazon is seeking an Export Compliance Manager to support its global export compliance program, drive control initiatives, and scale solutions. You will engage with business stakeholders to enhance governance, processes, and mechanisms across Amazon and build on global export standards.

The role requires deep subject matter expertise, strong analytical skills, and the ability to deliver in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment while coordinating with internal teams and executives.

Qualifications

• 4+ years managing compliance programs, governance or risk roles.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent required.
• 3+ years of program or project management experience.
• Subject matter expertise on EAR and ITAR regulations.

Responsibilities

• Provide high judgment and subject matter expertise on US and non-US export control regulations including EAR and ITAR.
• Develop and maintain regulatory contacts, engagement, and risk assessment program.
• Drive innovative solutions and create requirements to enhance and automate compliance for different exports.
• Apply US and non-US export control regulations and drive continuous improvements.
• Monitor regulatory changes and support public policy engagements.
• Create metrics for management reporting.
• Own leadership communications to stakeholder teams and executive leadership.
