A leading defense contractor located in Vienna, Virginia is seeking a Federal Contracts and Import Compliance Manager. This role requires a minimum of 5 years of experience in export/import compliance, specifically with ITAR and EAR, combined with a relevant bachelor's degree. Qualifications
5 years of experience in Import and Export compliance.
1 year in a government contracting role.
Must undergo and meet company standards for background check.
Responsibilities
Prepare and administer Department of State & Commerce licenses.
Function as a liaison between Shipping/Purchasing and U.S. Government.
Support contract review process, primarily in FAR/DFAR responsibilities.
Skills
Expert knowledge of U.S. export/import requirements (ITAR, EAR, ATF)
Ability to set up policies and procedures to support corporate compliance programs
Strong interpersonal and leadership skills
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Education
Bachelor's Degree in a business-related discipline or equivalent experience
