Job summary

The Estée Lauder Companies Inc. is seeking an Associate Director, Global Experiential & Events Design to guide global in-store and out-of-house event design. You will collaborate with executives to develop innovative window and in-store distortion concepts and provide detailed renderings for 3D/2D assets.

You will research trends, guide local markets, attend cross-functional meetings, and produce design packets for regional execution, with on-site support in the NYC area.

Qualifications

• BA or BFA in Interior Design, Stage and Set Design, or Architecture is required.
• 5+ years of experience in Agency, Event Design, Store Design, Graphic Design, and Visual Merchandising.
• Proficient in 3D modeling programs including: SketchUp, Rhino.
• Comprehensive knowledge of 2D technical skills in AutoCAD.
• Proficient in 3D rendering with Rhino, KeyShot.
• Proficient in Adobe Illustrator, InDesign and Photoshop, CadTools.

Responsibilities

• Develop concepts and research innovative design trends for event campaigns.
• Manage design projects from concept to execution.
• Create multiple design concepts and renderings.
• Maintain brand identity with extraordinary attention to detail.
• Produce 2D and 3D artwork for MAC Retail Environments and events.
• Occasionally assist on NYC-area installations.
• Organize and maintain a library of design assets.
