Job summary

ISMG is seeking an experienced and dynamic Event Manager to join our team and coordinate a global portfolio of Executive Roundtables. You will own 4-8+ events per month, manage sponsor relations, and drive attendance recruitment to meet registration goals while ensuring client satisfaction among senior cybersecurity executives worldwide.

You will collaborate with Sales, Editorial, and Marketing, leverage Marketo for invitations, and analyze event performance to identify improvements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Events, Public Relations, or communications.
• 3–5+ years in event management and audience development or delegate sales.
• B2B industry events experience a plus, cybersecurity/IT exposure helpful.
• Experience managing client projects and expectations for event performance.
• Virtual event experience with Zoom, GoToMeeting, BlueJeans, WebEx, etc.
• Marketo or marketing automation experience is a plus.
• Strong organizational, time-management and independent work ability.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with executives.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to planning, coordination, and promotion of global events per sponsor needs.
• Maintain sponsor communications as primary contact through the event lifecycle.
• Meet registration targets by segmenting invites and coordinating outbound recruitment.
• Grow database of global prospect contacts and nurture industry executives.
• Coordinate with Sales, Editorial, and Marketing to finalize sponsor materials.
• Gather attendee and sponsor feedback post-event and gauge future interest.
• Analyze event results to identify key metrics and drive improvements.
• Monitor industry trends and support departmental optimization.
