What is the opportunity?

As a Global Event Manager, you will be responsible for planning and logistics for Omnissa’s global events, as well as playing a key role in event strategy and development. You’ll work with leadership to understand the goals of each event, then plan and execute accordingly. You’ll collaborate with stakeholders across the Omnissa Global Marketing department and regularly coordinate with our Revenue Organization, Global Partner, and IT teams. The event team will lead planning and execution for Omnissa’s flagship event – Omnissa ONE – as well as all other industry events in the U.S. and globally; designing and delivering memorable experiences that align with our brand and marketing objectives. The ideal candidate is proactive, collaborative, customer-service oriented, with exceptional organizational skills, a strong work ethic, multitasking ability, and keen attention to detail.

Here Is a Breakdown

  • Project management and operational oversight: Manage logistics, timelines, team roles, budgets, vendor relationships, contracts, and internal coordination to ensure seamless event execution and cost efficiency.
  • Internal Collaboration: Seek event feedback from leadership and stakeholders, and identify opportunities to optimize processes and workflows.
  • Agenda and content development: Collaborate with internal teams to support speaker preparation and develop presentation materials that support company and event goals.
  • Event marketing and communications: Lead communications with internal stakeholders to ensure successful event execution. Create event communications, landing pages, branded materials, and post-event content, maintaining brand consistency and attendee experience.
  • Attendee and CRM management: Drive engagement through innovative marketing strategies. Oversee guest lists, RSVP tracking, and CRM tools to optimize outreach. Ensure excellent customer service and a high-touch experience for stakeholders.
  • On-site staffing: Manage on-site event logistics, staff coordination, vendor management, and issue resolution.
  • Reporting and feedback: Measure event success, analyze budgets, gather participant feedback, and incorporate lessons learned into future events.

Travel Expectations: Required travel, including possibly to Omnissa headquarters in Mountain View, CA.
