Normal Computing is looking for an Events & Conferences Specialist to share our hardware and AI work with customers, talent, investors and industry leaders. You will join a scaling Communications and Marketing team, producing Normal-hosted events and participating in industry conferences and executive appearances.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering conferences, events or live productions.
• Ability to manage tradeoffs and act independently when needed.
• Demonstrated proactive ownership of problems or projects.
• Strong presence: negotiate with producers and reassure speakers.
• Track record of maintaining production quality, deadlines and external relationships.

Responsabilités

• Organize event operations: maintain a central pipeline of owned and sponsored events, with schedules, staffing and production capacity.
• Manage vendors: source vendors, create scopes, estimates and track budgets; coordinate with Finance and Legal.
• Produce collateral: work with Design and production for booths, signage, and branded materials.
• Execute onsite logistics: arrange hardware deployments, rehearsals, speaker briefings, and press schedules.
• Run on-site delivery: setup, run-of-show, teardown and on-site problem solving.
• Represent Normal: engage with external partners, welcome guests and discuss technology and products.
• Closeout: hand off contacts and context for follow-up; coordinate payments and refunds.
