Job summary

Hormel Foods Corporation in Austin, MN seeks an Ethics & Compliance Manager to lead and advance the company’s ethics program, ensuring integrity and regulatory alignment across global operations. You will empower leaders to uphold ethical decision-making and foster a culture of accountability.

You will oversee third-party risk, training, audits, and risk assessments, partnering with business leaders worldwide. Relocation support and up to 10% travel are provided as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Law, Risk Management, or related field.
• Master's degree preferred.
• 5+ years of experience in ethics, compliance, auditing, program management, or risk management.

Responsibilities

• Lead and continuously improve the Ethics & Compliance program, including third-party risk, conflicts of interest, anti-bribery/anti-corruption, training, and ethics culture initiatives.
• Expand and support compliance programs across domestic and international operations.
• Develop, maintain, and monitor policies, procedures, controls, and program effectiveness through audits, assessments, metrics, and reporting.
• Provide guidance on ethics, compliance, conflicts of interest, gifts and entertainment, and ethical decision-making.
• Conduct risk assessments, identify emerging risks, and implement mitigation strategies and corrective actions.
• Manage Third-Party Risk Management (TPRM) processes including due diligence, onboarding, monitoring, and remediation of suppliers and business partners.
• Ensure compliance with FCPA, anti-bribery, anti-corruption, and other global regulations; monitor changes and industry trends.
• Develop and deliver compliance training, awareness campaigns, and communications reinforcing ethical behavior and reporting mechanisms.
• Prepare compliance reports, dashboards, and metrics for leadership; support audits and maintain documentation.
• Foster a culture of integrity, accountability, and speak-up behavior across functions.
