Job summary

Bank of America is seeking a Global Environmental Group (GEG) Business Analyst to help deliver the bank’s Net Zero commitments. You will work with GEG and Public Policy, LOBs, Global Technology, Risk, and Finance to monitor progress and develop analytical insights.

You will support engagement strategies, develop executive-level communications, and contribute to cross-functional initiatives while maintaining strong data-driven reporting and governance.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in financial services, sustainability, ESG, environmental strategy, risk, finance, consulting, or a related field.
• Strong quantitative and analytical skills, including experience working with large datasets and performance metrics.
• Experience developing executive-level presentations and communications.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience collaborating across complex organizations and with diverse stakeholder groups.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint, proficiency in AI prompting a plus.

Responsibilities

• Support monitoring of BofA’s 2030 sectoral net zero goals associated with our financing activities.
• Assist with development and maintenance of voluntary commitment and regulatory requirements.
• Assist with advancing engagement strategies with internal and external stakeholders.
• Assist with the execution of team processes and control documentation.
• Work with pillar lead in the execution of team priorities and tasks.
• Engage with data lead to advance and deliver analytical capabilities of the team.
• Develop presentations to communicate sectoral net zero performance, among other related topics.
• Support vendor management, audit, compliance, and risk requests.
• Engage with external partners, including peer banks, NGOs, and stakeholders, to develop guidelines and best practices and monitor industry trends.
• Perform research and represent the GEG at internal and external events as needed
