Job summary

Einride is seeking a Risk Manager to build an Enterprise Risk Management system from the ground up and oversee our global insurance portfolio. You will bridge strategic risk management with daily operations, coordinating with Legal, Finance, and external brokers across Europe and North America.

Based in Austin, TX or Stockholm, Sweden, you will drive risk analytics, board reporting, and coverage strategy for autonomous and electric operations at a fast-growing public company.

Qualifications

• 4–7 years of ERM, corporate insurance, claims handling, or risk consulting.
• Working knowledge of risk disclosures for public companies and governance standards.
• Experience structuring complex corporate insurance policies (D&O, Cyber, Auto/Fleet, General & Product Liability).
• Ability to translate complex risk data into actionable recommendations for executives.
• Thrives in fast-paced, high-growth environments and builds structured processes where none exist.

Responsibilities

• Design, establish, and roll out Einride’s first formal ERM framework across global functions.
• Own corporate and fleet insurance programs, renewals, coverage placement, and broker coordination.
• Lead end-to-end claims handling processes with legal and third‑party partners.
• Partner with operations, fleet, tech, and legal teams to ensure adequate coverage.
• Support SEC disclosures and governance frameworks; coordinate board reporting.
