Job summary

American Century Investments is seeking a Trader in Global Equity Trading based in Kansas City, MO. The role handles execution of orders in global equities, ETFs, and related derivatives, using electronic and high-touch methods, and supports cross‑functional teams to optimize execution quality.

You will work with Bloomberg/OMS/EMS tools, develop trading tools, and contribute to internal reports. A bachelor’s degree and 1+ years in a trading role are preferred; visa sponsorship is not available.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, accounting, economics, mathematics, statistics, CS, analytics or engineering.
• 1+ years trading experience at asset manager, hedge fund, or bank.
• Proficiency in Excel; knowledge of AI tools.
• Strong communication and attention to detail.
• Experience with electronic trading and market structure.
