Boutique Recruiting is seeking a Global Investment Analyst & Assistant Portfolio Manager in Scottsdale to perform global equity research and support portfolio construction for high-net-worth and institutional clients.

You will build financial models, conduct company analyses, and contribute to investment theses while interacting with senior leadership and Investment Committee discussions. Hybrid work flexibility offered with opportunities for growth in investment management.

Qualifications

• Approximately 3–4 years of relevant professional experience in fundamental public-equity research, individual-stock investing, portfolio management, or related role.
• Strong financial modeling, valuation, quantitative and qualitative investment analysis skills.
• Demonstrated ability to evaluate individual companies and translate financial analysis into a clear investment thesis.
• Experience with portfolio monitoring, rebalancing, trading, or other investment management responsibilities.
• Advanced proficiency with Excel and working proficiency with FactSet and PowerPoint.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills to discuss investment ideas with colleagues, clients, and prospects.
• Bachelor’s degree or higher and ability to work primarily in the Scottsdale office, with occasional travel.

Responsibilities

• Conduct deep fundamental research on public companies across U.S., international developed and emerging markets.
• Build scenario-based five-year financial models incorporating income statements, balance sheets, cash flow statements and DCF analysis.
• Perform valuation analysis using methods such as DCF, NPV, DDM, SOTP and private market value.
• Develop clear investment theses evaluating profitability, ROIC, competitive positioning, management quality, balance-sheet strength, risks and opportunities.
• Support portfolio management activities for high-net-worth and institutional accounts, including monitoring, rebalancing and trading across equities, fixed income and alternatives.
• Participate in Investment Committee discussions and provide independent, well-supported perspectives on securities and risk.
• Assist with investment reporting, fact sheets, board presentations, marketing materials and client/prospect meetings.
