Qualifications

• College degree or equivalent relevant work experience.
• Experience or exposure to manufacturing facilities, construction, equipment installation, or on-site project coordination.
• Ability to read equipment drawings and floor layouts.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to coordinate multiple projects and priorities.
• Japanese language ability required for project and supplier communication.
• Ability to travel up to 35%.

Responsibilities

• Assess customer requirements and support technical project development.
• Assist with estimating project costs, schedules, labor, and equipment needs.
• Support customer training on equipment operation and technical procedures.
• Coordinate equipment installation and supervise contractors as assigned.
• Read and verify equipment drawings, layouts, and installation specifications.
• Assist senior engineers/project managers with bid packages and technical information.
• Track and summarize project costs and progress.
• Provide on-site project coordination and confirm installations match approved drawings.
• Coordinate technical issues and project meetings among customers, contractors, and internal teams.
• Follow up with customers regarding equipment performance and service needs.
• Coordinate with Japanese teams and multinational suppliers to monitor equipment deliveries and project schedules.
• Travel to customer/manufacturing sites up to 35%.
