Job summary

Micron Technology seeks a Senior or Staff Engineer, Global Environmental Technology, to lead environmental compliance programs and technology initiatives across Micron's manufacturing network. You will evaluate data, contaminants, and treatment systems, using AI and analytics to drive data-driven decisions and proactive risk management.

Domestic and international travel are expected. The role requires collaboration across EHSS, Facilities, Manufacturing, and Legal teams to implement regulatory

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in a relevant technical field or equivalent practical experience.
• 5+ years in environmental engineering, environmental compliance, or related field.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and technical communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate emerging contaminants, environmental technologies, and compliance issues affecting Micron operations.
• Analyze environmental monitoring results to support operational and compliance decisions.
• Develop assessments and reports on environmental treatment systems and regulatory requirements.
• Monitor evolving environmental regulations and support implementation across global sites.
• Collaborate with EHSS, Facilities, Manufacturing, Tech Development, and Legal teams to resolve challenges.
• Leverage AI and analytics to improve data management and decision-making.
• Support risk management initiatives through data-driven evaluations.
• Contribute to standardized processes and tools for program consistency.
