Job summary

Micron Technology seeks a Senior or Staff Engineer, Global Environmental Technology, to lead environmental compliance initiatives across Micron’s worldwide operations. You will guide data-driven evaluations, harness AI and analytics, and collaborate with EHSS, Facilities, Manufacturing, and Legal teams while supporting a global manufacturing network and travel as needed.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a technical field and 5+ years of relevant experience.
Experience evaluating environmental data and regulatory requirements.
Ability to collaborate across global, multi-functional teams.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

Evaluate environmental contaminants, technologies, and compliance issues.
Analyze monitoring results, data, and treatment performance for decisions.
Develop technical assessments, recommendations, and reports related to treatment systems and regulatory requirements.
Monitor evolving environmental regulations and support implementation across Micron's global manufacturing sites.
Partner with EHSS, Facilities, Manufacturing, Technology Development, and Legal teams to resolve environmental compliance and technology challenges.
Leverage AI, advanced analytics, and digital tools to improve environmental data management, compliance forecasting, and technical decision-making.
Support environmental risk management initiatives through data-driven evaluations and recommendations.
Contribute to the development of standardized processes, tools, and standard methodologies that enhance program consistency and operational excellence.
