Job summary

Micron Technology seeks a Senior or Staff Engineer, Global Environmental Technology, to lead environmental compliance initiatives across Micron’s worldwide operations. You will guide data-driven evaluations, harness AI and analytics, and collaborate with EHSS, Facilities, Manufacturing, and Legal teams while supporting a global manufacturing network and travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a technical field and 5+ years of relevant experience.
• Experience evaluating environmental data and regulatory requirements.
• Ability to collaborate across global, multi-functional teams.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate environmental contaminants, technologies, and compliance issues.
• Analyze monitoring results, data, and treatment performance for decisions.
• Develop technical assessments, recommendations, and reports related to treatment systems and regulatory requirements.
• Monitor evolving environmental regulations and support implementation across Micron's global manufacturing sites.
• Partner with EHSS, Facilities, Manufacturing, Technology Development, and Legal teams to resolve environmental compliance and technology challenges.
• Leverage AI, advanced analytics, and digital tools to improve environmental data management, compliance forecasting, and technical decision-making.
• Support environmental risk management initiatives through data-driven evaluations and recommendations.
• Contribute to the development of standardized processes, tools, and standard methodologies that enhance program consistency and operational excellence.
