Job summary

Agfa HealthCare is seeking a Global Enterprise Solutions Architect to define and govern our global solution architecture portfolio. You’ll lead cross-functional teams across product management, R&D, platform engineering, services, and sales to design scalable, secure, and cloud-enabled imaging IT solutions.

The role drives standardisation across regions, supports cloud-native and SaaS delivery models, and influences roadmaps based on customer requirements and market trends.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in enterprise solution architecture, infrastructure design, cloud technologies, or healthcare IT.
• Strong understanding of enterprise platforms, virtualization, storage, networking, cybersecurity, and high-availability architectures.
• Experience designing and supporting cloud solutions within AWS and/or other major cloud providers.
• Experience with containerisation technologies and Kubernetes-based platforms.
• Proven ability to influence cross-functional teams and senior stakeholders.
• Experience supporting strategic customer engagements, large-scale bids, and complex solution design activities.

Responsibilities

• Define, maintain, and govern global solution architecture standards and reference designs.
• Lead development of standardised architectural frameworks and best practices.
• Architectural leadership across on-prem, hybrid, private, and public cloud deployments.
• Drive transition from VM-based to containerised Kubernetes platforms.
• Support cloud-native and SaaS operating models and platform transformations.
• Collaborate with executives, product, R&D, and services to align architecture with business strategy.
• Facilitate alignment between pre-sales, delivery, and support for consistent deployments.
• Participate in risk assessment, capture lessons from deployments, and drive improvements.
