Job summary

Gutor Electronic Americas, LLC in Houston (TX) is seeking an Engineering Coordinator to support its global engineering organization. You will act as a key liaison between Gutor Americas and engineering teams in Switzerland and Malaysia, ensuring timely updates and consistent documentation throughout the life cycle of Gutor industrial UPS systems.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of experience in electronics, electrical engineering, or a related technical field.
• Ability to interpret mechanical drawings, wiring diagrams, schematics, and BOMs.
• Hands-on problem-solving on the production floor with quick troubleshooting.
• Experience with ECO/ECR processes and revision control.
• Strong communication skills for cross‑cultural, multi‑site collaboration.
• Highly organized, independent, and detail‑oriented.
• Position not eligible for employer-sponsored visa sponsorship now or in the future.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the central communication bridge for Gutor Americas between engineering teams in Switzerland and Malaysia.
• Execute local US engineering updates, design corrections, and document revisions on the fly.
• Troubleshoot minor technical or documentation issues on the production floor to prevent delays.
• Coordinate ECOs and ECRs, providing feedback to stakeholders.
• Interpret drawings, schematics, BOMs, and maintain revision control.
• Coordinate with engineering, production, quality, and supply chain to address issues efficiently.
• Identify documentation gaps and escalate or resolve them.
• Manage multiple engineering tasks across time zones.
