Job summary

Micron Technology, Inc. seeks the Global Engineering Labs (GEL) Site Lead for the San Jose site to oversee laboratory operations and ensure safety, reliability, and readiness to support current and future technology needs.

You will partner with engineering customers, facilities, safety organizations, and business partners to drive operational excellence and customer experience, leading a team and directing budgets and projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree as specified or equivalent experience.
• Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional projects and influence stakeholders.
• Strong communication, problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Proficiency with data-driven decision making and operational metrics.
• Demonstrated AI proficiency and ability to leverage AI-enabled tools.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily site operations and laboratory support activities.
• Develop and maintain relationships with engineering customers and partners.
• Drive safety, operational excellence, accountability, and customer service.
• Manage laboratory space, equipment onboarding, and infrastructure planning.
• Partner with Facilities, EHS, Engineering, and other teams on site projects.
• Lead site improvement initiatives focused on efficiency and customer experience.
• Oversee asset lifecycle activities including deployment, relocation, retirement.
• Manage priorities, resources, budgets, and project execution.
• Coach and develop team members, fostering inclusion and collaboration.
• Use data and continuous improvement to enhance performance and decision making.
