Job summary

Micron Technology, Inc. is seeking an experienced Global EHS Principal Safety Engineer to lead enterprise safety operations, governance, and strategic program execution.

You will define the Global Health & Safety roadmap, drive performance management, and enable digital solutions across the organization. You will partner with engineering, IT, and business leaders to translate strategy into scalable programs, analyze data for trends and risks, and mentor teams to raise safety capability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Occupational Safety, Industrial Hygiene, Risk Management, Business, Information Systems, or related field.
• 10+ years of experience in EHS or related high-hazard environments.
• Expertise in safety performance management, including metrics and reporting.
• Experience leading complex cross-functional programs and executive engagement.
• Ability to influence senior leaders and drive improvements.

Responsibilities

• Own and manage the Global Health & Safety multi-year portfolio and roadmap, including prioritization, resource planning, risk management, governance, benefits tracking, and executive reporting.
• Lead the enterprise Health & Safety performance management framework, including metric selection, governance, and reporting.
• Establish global governance for safety indicators, ensuring data quality and consistent reporting.
• Partner with program owners, engineering, IT, and leaders to translate strategy into scalable programs.
• Analyze safety data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement.
• Own the roadmap and lifecycle of digital solutions for Health & Safety, including dashboards and Power Platform solutions.
• Collaborate with Global EHS PMO to ensure portfolio execution and governance compliance.
• Build capability through leadership, standards, and advanced analytics/AI tools.
