Job summary

ITT Goulds Pumps in Seneca Falls, NY seeks a Global Engineering Co-op for Spring/Summer 2027. The role supports 2 years of collegiate study in mechanical engineering with exposure to design and manufacture of engineered-to-order pumps and monitoring equipment.

You will work with senior engineers in a dynamic lab environment, performing solid modeling, process analysis, data updates, and documentation tasks to support product development and changes.

Qualifications

• Two years of college in mechanical engineering or related field.
• Experience with Excel is a plus.
• Interest in R&D and product engineering projects.
• Pursuing a degree for a Spring/Summer 2027 co-op.

Responsibilities

• Generate solid models and detail drawings.

Position Summary

Position: Global Engineering Co-op (Spring/Summer 2027)

Location: Seneca Falls, NY

Major: Mechanical Engineering / Mechanical Engineering Technology

Academic Schedule: January to August 2027, full-time, 40 hours per week

About the experience: Our ITT Goulds Pumps co-op candidates have the unique opportunity to work for one of the most recognizable pump brands in the world. They will obtain firsthand experience in the design and manufacture of engineered to order, high specification industrial pumps and monitoring equipment. Our top mechanical engineering and design professionals will offer guidance and mentorship for each candidate.

Essential Responsibilities

• Generation of solid models and detail design drawing
• Analyzing and Documenting Processes to Develop Standard Work
• Develop Engineering and Design Process and Tools
• Updating technical product data and documentation
• Process engineering change notices for various products
• Work in R&D test lab setting up pumps for testing

Position Requirements

• Candidates should have completed at least 2 years of college in mechanical engineering or mechanical engineering technology and have an interest supporting research and development and product engineering projects in a dynamic engineering environment.
• Knowledge/Experience in Microsoft Office is required, particularly Excel.
• Knowledge/Experience in PTC Creo is helpful, but not required.
