Job summary

ITT Goulds Pumps co-op program in Seneca Falls, NY offers hands-on design and manufacturing experience for engineered-to-order, high-spec pumps. You will work with leading engineering professionals in a mentorship-focused environment during the January–August 2027 schedule.

Candidates should have two years of college in mechanical engineering or ME technology, strong Excel skills, and an interest in R&D and product engineering; Creo knowledge is a plus.

Qualifications

• Completed at least two years of college in mechanical engineering or mechanical engineering technology.
• Experience with Microsoft Excel and Office is required.
• Creo experience is helpful but not required.

Responsibilities

• Generate solid models and detailed design drawings.
• Analyze and document processes to develop standard work.
• Develop engineering and design processes and tools.
• Update technical product data and documentation.
• Process engineering change notices for various products.
• Work in R&D test lab setting up pumps for testing.

Position Summary

Position: Global Engineering Co-op (Spring/Summer 2027)

Location: Seneca Falls, NY

Major: Mechanical Engineering / Mechanical Engineering Technology

Academic Schedule: January to August 2027, full-time, 40 hours per week

About the experience: Our ITT Goulds Pumps co-op candidates have the unique opportunity to work for one of the most recognizable pump brands in the world. They will obtain firsthand experience in the design and manufacture of engineered to order, high specification industrial pumps and monitoring equipment. Our top mechanical engineering and design professionals will offer guidance and mentorship for each candidate.

Essential Responsibilities

• Generation of solid models and detail design drawing

Position Requirements

• Candidates should have completed at least 2 years of college in mechanical engineering or mechanical engineering technology and have an interest supporting research and development and product engineering projects in a dynamic engineering environment.
• Knowledge/Experience in Microsoft Office is required, particularly Excel.
• Knowledge/Experience in PTC Creo is helpful, but not required.
