Job summary

S&P Global, Inc. is seeking a VP of Financial Planning & Analysis for Energy to shape financial strategy across planning, forecasting and performance analysis. You will translate strategy into actionable plans, challenge assumptions, and deliver forward-looking insights for growth and profitability at the division level.

You will lead a global FP&A team, partner with energy executives and enterprise finance, and drive transformation through automation and data-driven decision making.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of progressive finance experience with leadership across FP&A, strategy and business partnership.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration; MBA/CPA/CFA preferred.
• Demonstrated senior finance partner to C-suite with credibility and judgment.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end FP&A agenda for the Energy division, including budgeting, forecasting and long-range planning.
• Translate strategic priorities into actionable financial plans and resource allocation.
• Develop performance metrics, dashboards and forward-looking analytics for senior leadership.
• Drive M&A activities, transformation initiatives and investment decisions across the portfolio.
• Provide enterprise-minded finance perspective to improve growth, profitability and value creation.
