Job summary

VIGILINT is seeking an experienced Emergency Physician to support Mobile Surgical Resuscitation Team activities worldwide. The role requires at least one ~60 day rotation OCONUS annually and collaboration with a tight-knit medical team.

You will provide full-spectrum emergency medicine in austere environments, supervise staff, assist surgeons and anesthesia providers, and plan CCAT missions for ICU patients. All care is documented per policy.

Qualifications

• MD/DO from an accredited US school.
• Active SECRET or higher clearance.
• Current/active US medical license.
• ABEM or AOEM board certification in Emergency Medicine.
• US citizenship.
• ACLS, PALS, & BLS current.
• Minimum 8 years as an Emergency Physician.
• Minimum 5 years US Military or Government Sponsored experience.
• Deployment experience in austere/combat-like environments.

Responsibilities

• Provide full-spectrum emergency medicine in austere, limited-resource environments.
• Examine, diagnose, and treat routine and emergency conditions.
• Consult and advise patients as the emergency medicine SME.
• Supervise attached medical personnel as required.
• Assist a surgeon and anesthesia provider in perioperative care.
• Plan and conduct CCAT missions for ICU-level patients.
• Document care and complete medical records per VIGILINT policy.
