Job summary
Activision Blizzard is seeking a Senior Manager of Emergency Management & Resilience to develop and execute plans that mitigate business interruptions and enhance global preparedness. This role partners with IT, Legal, Finance, HR, and Communications to implement a comprehensive continuity framework and oversees worldwide emergency response.
The role also leads global simulations, tracks testing results, and manages a mass notification platform to ensure effective crisis communications and rapid
Qualifications
- Must have at least 13 years' experience in emergency preparedness, resilience, or disaster planning.
- BA or BS desired. Degrees in emergency management, emergency services administration, homeland security, or similar fields desired.
- Certification from IAEM, DRI, BCI, or equivalent preferred.
- Demonstrated knowledge of emergency management strategies and disaster recovery.
Responsibilities
- Lead the delivery of emergency management and resilience programs with stakeholders and leaders.
- Coordinate global crisis events and deploy resources to address international incidents.
- Partner with IT, Legal, Finance, HR, Comms to update and implement continuity plans.
- Lead global emergency simulations and training exercises to ensure readiness.
- Monitor and report on testing results and areas for improvement.
- Own the global mass communication platform and ensure its effective use for emergencies.
