Job summary

Generac Power Systems is seeking a Global Commodity Manager- Electronics to drive strategic sourcing and supplier performance across global operations. The role focuses on creating and executing sourcing strategies, improving total cost and gross margin, and aligning the supplier base with business goals.

You will work with cross-functional teams to manage supplier relationships, negotiate agreements, and lead quality and efficiency initiatives while ensuring regulatory compliance and risk

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent experience.
• 6 years’ experience in strategic sourcing, supplier quality or operational management.
• Ability to travel both domestic and internationally, up to 30% of the time.

Responsibilities

• Identify and deliver material cost productivity through cost reduction.
• Define and communicate commodity and supplier strategies.
• Manage supplier performance and drive improvements using data analytics.
• Negotiate Master Supply Agreements to maximize value.
• Own and update supplier scorecards and participate in supplier quality audits.
