Job summary

Rockwell Automation is seeking an experienced engineering professional to support global electronic assembly operations with significant onsite time at Mequon and New Berlin facilities. The role reports to the manager of manufacturing process engineering - PCBA and aims to standardize processes for quality, throughput, and profitability.

The ideal candidate will maintain deep expertise in multiple electronic assembly processes, drive capital projects, and collaborate with design teams on DFM/DFA

Qualifications

• BS/BA in engineering or related field; 8+ years electronic assembly manufacturing experience preferred.
• Lean Six Sigma experience (Green Belt+ preferred).
• Depth in solder profiling, SMT, post‑SMT, or conformal coat processes.
• Familiarity with IPC and ISO/AS standards is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Provide expert leadership in electronic assembly to improve quality, throughput, and reliability.
• Develop and deploy global electronic assembly process standards.
• Lead equipment selection, justification, purchase, and implementation.
• Use DOE and statistical analysis to monitor KPIs and drive improvement.
• Partner with design teams on DFM / DFA and document technical reviews.
