Job summary

Johnson Health Tech is seeking an Electrical Engineer II or Senior Electrical Engineer to lead hardware design, coordinate schedules and costs, and act as the liaison between North American and global engineering teams.

You will manage multiple projects through our development processes, translate product requirements into actionable tasks for the R&D team, and travel internationally 2–4 times per year to Taiwan and/or China.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from ABET-accredited program.
• Minimum four years in electrical hardware design or related PM roles.
• Experience with embedded hardware design or motor/drive systems (2+ years).
• PCB layout experience and EMC/EMI knowledge.
• Ability to travel internationally 2–4 times per year and communicate across teams.

Responsibilities

• Serve as liaison between NA & Asia Electrical Engineering teams.
• Provide design feedback, technical analysis, and troubleshooting support.
• Manage schedules, costs, specifications, and cross‑global communications.
• Lead design reviews through development processes.
• Evaluate designs and support prototype testing to identify risks and improve performance.
• Translate product requirements into technical tasks for R&D.
• Coordinate electrical system and hardware design activities, including software collaboration.
• Communicate with overseas teams, sometimes outside office hours.
• Travel internationally 2–4 times per year.
