Job summary

Johnson Health Tech is seeking an Electrical Engineer II or Senior Electrical Engineer to lead electrical design efforts across global teams. You will oversee multiple projects through development processes, manage schedules and costs, and ensure electrical systems and hardware meet high standards.

This role emphasizes translating business needs into actionable technical work, coordinating with product managers, and delivering innovative, high‑quality products that support healthier lives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering (ABET-accredited).
• 4+ years in electrical hardware design, project management, or related field; senior level may require broader scope.
• Technical project management and hands-on troubleshooting experience.
• At least 2+ years of design with embedded hardware or AC/DC motors, generators, and drive systems.
• Experience with PCB layout and motor control or control theory.

Responsibilities

• Serve as communication lead between North America and Asia Electrical Engineering teams.
• Provide design feedback, technical analysis, and troubleshooting support.
• Manage tasks, schedules, costs, specifications, and cross‑team communication.
• Lead and participate in design reviews across Key Component, Digital Product, and NPD processes.
• Evaluate designs and support prototype testing to identify risks and improve product performance.
• Translate marketing and product requirements into actionable technical tasks for R&D.
• Coordinate electrical system and hardware design with software development.
• Communicate regularly with overseas teams, occasionally outside standard hours.
• Travel internationally 2–4 times per year to Taiwan/China facilities.
