AFL Telecommunications LLC is seeking a Director of Environmental, Health, Safety & Security to join our Manufacturing Operations team in Duncan, SC. This senior leader will guide EHSS strategy across AFL's manufacturing footprint, embedding risk-aware practices in capital projects and daily operations to ensure safe, compliant, and efficient production.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in environmental health and safety, environmental science, engineering, business, or related field.
At least 10 years of progressive EHSS experience with leadership responsibility for a large manufacturing site or multi-site organization.
Demonstrated experience leading EHSS professionals in a complex, matrixed organization.
Strong knowledge of occupational safety, environmental compliance, and safety management systems.

Responsibilities

Lead the EHSS function for the global manufacturing organization and serve as trusted advisor to senior manufacturing leadership.
Translate EHSS strategy into practical priorities, annual plans, standards, and measurable objectives.
Develop EHSS capability across sites and integrate EHSS into business planning and capital projects.
Oversee governance for compliance with OSHA, EPA, ISO, and related requirements and lead incident investigations.
