Job summary

Micron Technology in Boise, Idaho is seeking an experienced EHS Safety Engineer to lead global safety operations, performance management, and strategic program execution. This role defines the Global Health & Safety roadmap and governance systems to drive proactive risk reduction across the organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical subject area or equivalent experience.
• 10+ years in EHS, safety engineering, risk management, or enterprise programs.
• Experience leading multi-functional programs, governance and executive engagement.
• Proven ability to influence senior leaders and drive improvements.

Responsibilities

• Own and manage global safety portfolio, roadmap, and governance.
• Lead safety performance framework, metrics, and reporting standards.
• Develop global indicators definitions, data quality, and reporting rules.
• Partner with engineering, IT, and business leaders to scale programs.
• Analyze safety data to identify trends and risk reduction opportunities.
• Own digital solutions for H&S portfolio, dashboards, workflows, and Power Platform.
• Collaborate with Global EHS PMO to ensure governance and execution.
• Build capability through mentoring, standards, and advanced analytics.
