Job summary

Takeda is seeking a senior EHS professional to drive the development and implementation of the EHS Management System across corporate operations. You will oversee alignment with ISO 14001/45001, lead policy and procedure development, and coordinate cross-functional efforts with regulators and vendors.

The role emphasizes continual improvement, risk reduction, and training delivery to support global site compliance. Strong project management and collaboration skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Degree in engineering, life sciences, or similar field.
• 10+ years’ experience in Pharmaceutical/Biopharmaceutical or similar manufacturing.
• Minimum 5+ years corporate-level EHS Management System development and deployment experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead development and deployment of the corporate EHS management system.
• Align with ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 and internal requirements.
• Coordinate development, deployment, and maintenance of EHS documents (policies, standards, procedures).
• Drive continual improvement and risk-based management across operations.
• Engage regulators, vendors and internal teams to elevate capability.
• Prepare annual EHS Management Reviews and lead related change management.
