Job summary

Google’s Data Center Compliance, Strategy, and Risk Management (CSRM) team leads safety and regulatory governance across Google’s worldwide data center construction portfolio. You, as Director of EHS Construction, will define global strategy, embed proactive safety cultures, and partner with Technical Infrastructure and external GC networks to achieve Zero Harm.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Health and Safety, Occupational Safety, Engineering, Construction Management, or equivalent practical experience.
• 15 years of experience in construction safety, technical infrastructure delivery, or environmental health and safety program management.
• Experience leading construction safety programs, managing regional/global teams, and directing capital project safety governance.

Responsibilities

• Define the multi-year safety direction, standards, and governance across all global data center builds and offsite programs.
• Align cross-functional executive stakeholders to ensure compliance with Owner's Requirements, safety manuals, and environmental regulations.
• Build, scale, and inspire a global organization of regional EHS managers and technical program managers across Americas, EMEA, APAC, and partners.
• Oversee KPI frameworks, high-risk standards (Electrical Safety and Commissioning), incident response, and predictive analytics for decision-making.
