Job summary

UNICEF seeks an international consultant for its global education policy and liaison team, a 12-month assignment to support UNICEF's engagement with GPE governance structures and multilateral processes. Qualifications

• Advanced university degree in education, public policy, international relations, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of professional experience in education policy reform or international relations.
• Demonstrated experience working at international level and engagement in multilateralism within the education sector.

Responsibilities

• Support global policy engagement and UNICEF's engagement with GPE governance structures.
• Monitor global education policy trends and partnership developments.
• Contribute to internal coordination on messaging, positioning and engagement strategies.
• Track and analyze developments in GPE processes.
• Support coordination with Permanent Missions and UN partners in New York.
• Contribute to development of knowledge products to strengthen UNICEF's visibility and influence.
