The Partnership on AI (PAI) seeks an Editorial Director, Global Communications to lead the organization’s global communications function and maximize reach and adoption of PAI’s research, guidance, and tools.

Based in Brussels or London with remote-first flexibility, the role builds editorial standards and audience-centered approaches, coordinating across programs, policy, and partnerships to drive engagement and action worldwide.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of editorial leadership, strategic communications, journalism, public affairs, or policy communications, including 5+ years leading teams.
• Exceptional editorial judgment translating complex topics into compelling narratives for diverse audiences.
• Strong track record developing dissemination strategies that increase visibility, influence, and adoption.

Responsabilités

• Provide editorial oversight and strategic communications guidance for PAI frameworks, reports, and technical outputs.
• Ensure publications are accessible and positioned for practical adoption by standards organizations and policymakers.
• Develop executive briefs, speeches, and external communications assets.
• Lead the international communications strategy to strengthen global visibility and adoption outside North America.
