Job summary

TikTok is seeking a seasoned eDiscovery leader to guide the Global eDiscovery team within Global Litigation. You will own the strategy, oversee operations, and collaborate with outside counsel and stakeholders to ensure scalable discovery across regions.

Ideal candidates bring Juris Doctorate, extensive eDiscovery leadership, and strong familiarity with Relativity and Nuix. This role emphasizes cross-functional partnership and global regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Juris Doctorate from an ABA-accredited law school and license to practice in either New York or California.
• Extensive eDiscovery experience in private practice at a top firm and/or corporate litigation/regulatory settings.
• Proven experience leading global teams of legal/eDiscovery professionals on large cross-border matters.
• Extensive knowledge of eDiscovery lifecycle, data privacy, and information governance.
• Strong knowledge of global regulatory obligations related to litigation, discovery, and information governance.
• Fluency with enterprise discovery platforms/workflows (Relativity, Nuix).
• Experience partnering with cross-functional teams including Engineering, Security, and Information Governance.

Responsibilities

• Own and lead TikTok’s global eDiscovery strategy, operations, and technology across litigation, regulatory, and investigations.
• Advise Global Legal and cooperate with outside counsel and vendors; manage relationships with eDiscovery service providers.
• Lead day-to-day operations of the global eDiscovery team and set goals for scalable practices.
• Design and improve global eDiscovery standards, workflows, and playbooks across regions.
• Oversee full eDiscovery lifecycle from preservation to production to ensure defensibility and efficiency.
• Evaluate and optimize eDiscovery technologies; develop metrics and forecasting to track performance and spend.
