Arch Insurance Group offers a summer economics internship designed to give students hands-on experience in macroeconomic research within the insurance sector. You will assist with data analysis, econometric modeling, and the preparation of briefing materials under the guidance of senior economists.

The program runs June 2, 2027 – August 6, 2027, with a hybrid work arrangement (2 onsite, 3 remote) and locations in Washington, D.C. or Greensboro, NC.

Competenze

• Master's student in Economics or related field.
• GPA 3.0 or higher.
• Graduation between December 2027 and May 2028.
• Advanced Excel and PowerPoint for presenting data.
• Experience with Claude Code or GitHub Copilot preferred.
• Strong quantitative and analytical skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Detail-oriented and able to synthesize data.

Mansioni

• Contribute to the U.S. and global economic outlook with research and data analysis.
• Support econometric modeling projects, including data prep and testing.
• Track and summarize economic developments; prepare briefing notes and presentations.
• Analyze economic and industry trends with guidance from senior economists.
• Provide research support for recurring reports and ad-hoc requests.
• Monitor daily economic releases and highlight developments in capital and housing markets.
• Contribute to written and visual content, including research notes and rapid reactions to events.
