AMETEK Solidstate Controls seeks a proven DVP, Business Manager with full P&L responsibility for a $150M+ unit serving critical infrastructure worldwide. Reporting to the Division VP, you will drive profitable growth, operational excellence, innovation, and talent development across the organization, leading high-performing teams and collaborating with engineering, operations, and commercial groups.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, Finance, Operations, or related field.
• Proven leadership experience within industrial manufacturing, electrical systems, power systems, industrial technology, automation, energy, infrastructure, or related markets; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Demonstrated success leading a business, product line, operating unit, or major functional organization with responsibility for growth, profitability, and operational performance.
• Strong financial and business acumen with experience utilizing data, financial metrics, and market insights to drive business decisions.
• Experience developing and executing strategies that deliver sustainable growth and operational improvements.
• Proven ability to lead and develop high-performing teams across multiple functions.
• Strong communication, influencing, and executive presentation skills.
• Demonstrated experience leveraging artificial intelligence, advanced analytics, digital technologies, and/or data-driven strategies to improve business performance, accelerate innovation, enhance customer engagement, or drive commercial growth.
• Demonstrated ability to balance strategic thinking with operational execution.

Responsibilities

• Own and deliver results for orders, sales, operating income, cash flow, and working capital.
• Develop and execute annual operating plans, forecasts, and long-range strategic plans.

• Ensure effective capital allocation and prioritization of resources to maximize shareholder value.
