Job summary

Control Risks is seeking a Due Diligence Analyst to support a major global technology client. The role involves executing complex investigations, assessing multi-jurisdictional risks, and delivering clear, actionable analyses to inform risk-based decisions.

The ideal candidate will leverage OSINT, proprietary data, and public records to evaluate third parties and executives across jurisdictions. Excellent writing and independent work in a global team environment are essential.

Qualifications

  • 5-7 years of experience in due diligence, investigative research, or related field.
  • Experience conducting enhanced due diligence and integrity investigations on corporations and senior executives.
  • Strong knowledge of anti-bribery, corruption, AML, sanctions, fraud, and PEP risks.
  • Exceptional written communication and client-facing report drafting.
  • Ability to work independently and with global cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct enhanced due diligence investigations on third parties and executives using OSINT, databases, records, and media sources.
  • Analyze findings to identify financial crime and reputational risks.
  • Prepare clear due diligence reports, executive summaries, and risk briefings.
  • Assess adverse information and recommend escalation or mitigations.
  • Support risk monitoring and ongoing vendor risk assessments.
  • Develop search strategies and analytical methodologies for due diligence.
  • Quality assurance of research products and mentorship for junior analysts.
