Takeda is seeking a Process Technology & Innovation Lead DS Upstream to define the global technology and innovation strategy for Drug Substance Upstream manufacturing. You will lead development and deployment of advanced process technologies, digital solutions and innovative capabilities to enhance robustness, productivity and sustainability.

You will partner with Global MSAT, Pharmaceutical Sciences and cross-functional teams to drive strategic investments, governance and network-wide

Qualifications

Advanced degree in a relevant discipline.
Typically 15+ years of pharma/biopharma manufacturing experience.
Expertise in manufacturing process technologies and tech transfer.
Proven record in global technology strategies and large-scale transformations.
Knowledge of automation, digital solutions, data analytics and AI applications.
Strong business acumen with investment proposal experience.
Excellent strategic thinking and stakeholder management.
Ability to lead cross-functional teams in global matrixed organizations.
Fluent English is required.

Responsabilités

Define and lead the global DS Upstream process technology and innovation strategy.
Own and govern the technology portfolio across process technologies, automation, digital solutions and AI.
Drive identification, evaluation and industrialization of innovative technologies from PoC to GMP deployment.
Establish and maintain the global technology blueprint and standards.
Deliver measurable business value through technology deployment and optimization.
