Qualifications

Advanced degree and 15+ years in pharma/biopharma manufacturing or MSAT/tech ops.
Proven track record in technology strategies and large-scale transformation programs.
Experience leading global, matrixed teams and strategic partnerships.

Responsibilities

Define and drive the global process technology and innovation strategy for Drug Substance Downstream manufacturing.
Lead the innovation portfolio across process tech, automation, digital solutions and AI applications.
Oversee scouting, pilot implementation, tech transfer and lifecycle management of new technologies.
Govern downstream tech blueprint and manufacturing architecture across Takeda's network.
Improve manufacturing robustness, productivity, cost efficiency, sustainability, and quality performance.
Chair governance board; manage roadmaps, investments and deployment decisions.
Build and lead cross-functional innovation networks with multiple functions and external partners.
