Job summary

Citi is seeking a senior product leader to drive end-to-end simplification of domestic core payments, enabling platform modernization across 80+ markets. You will shape the global simplification strategy, partnering with product, operations, and technology teams to deliver measurable improvements in resilience and profitability.

Responsibilities include governance, roadmaps, market analysis, pricing strategy, and clear communication to senior stakeholders while ensuring regulatory compliance

Qualifications

• Deep knowledge of the payments ecosystem, including regulatory frameworks.
• Ability to develop and execute commercialization strategies that translate product improvements into client value and business growth.
• Strong analytical capability for evaluating market opportunities and solving complex problems.

Responsibilities

• Lead the global product simplification strategy for domestic core payments across 80+ markets.
• Define and oversee strategic simplification programs, governance, OKRs, and roadmaps.
• Partner with product, operations, and technology to reduce architectural complexity and boost resilience.
• Analyze market intelligence to identify opportunities, shape roadmaps, and refine pricing/go-to-market strategies.
• Champion Core Payments commercialization efforts for Corporate & Commercial Banking.
• Monitor product performance, analyze P&L drivers, and implement growth strategies.
• Communicate progress to senior stakeholders and escalate risks with corrective actions.
• Drive continuous improvement and stay ahead of regulatory changes.
