Job summary

Citi is seeking a Head of Domestic Payments for Australia and New Zealand to lead strategy, lifecycle management and commercial performance of the domestic payments portfolio. The role drives real-time and account-to-account payments, directs product development, pricing, and market positioning while aligning with regulatory and scheme requirements.

The position leads a team of product managers, partners with Technology, Risk and Finance, and shapes Citi’s leadership in the domestic payments

Qualifications

• 10+ years in payments, transaction banking or financial services.
• Led complex payments products or platforms within a financial institution.
• Experience managing product P&Ls and financial performance.
• Engagement with regulators, payment schemes and industry bodies.

Responsibilities

• Define and execute the Domestic Payments strategy for Australia and New Zealand.
• Own the domestic payments product portfolio, including roadmap and lifecycle.
• Drive revenue growth, client adoption and market share.
• Lead pricing strategy and business case development for investments.
• Collaborate with Sales, Coverage and Client Solutions teams on opportunities.
• Ensure governance, risk management and regulatory compliance.
