Job summary

Ascot Group, a premier specialty risk underwriting organization, seeks a Vice President for Global Distribution, Strategy & Distribution Analytics. This role drives analytics-driven strategy across sales channels, partnering with trading partners to foster growth and enhanced client connectivity.

You will lead a distributed analytics function, shape KPIs, and guide data governance while leveraging AI trends to improve decision-making and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree required.
• 12+ years of progressive insurance experience with a focus on distribution, analytics and strategy setting.
• Strong knowledge of data analysis techniques and data visualization tools.
• Advanced PowerPoint skills required.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proven experience identifying and leveraging advanced analytics to drive decisions and deliver business outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Develop analytics strategies to drive growth through distribution channels.
• Analyze sales, clients, trading partners and market data to identify trends and opportunities.
• Define distribution strategies targeting growth in appetite.
• Define, monitor, and communicate KPIs related to production and distribution to senior leadership.
• Partner with IT and data teams to ensure data governance and deployment of analytics tools.
• Lead and mentor a team of Distribution analysts to embed data-driven decision-making.
• Stay at the forefront of AI and data trends while ensuring regulatory compliance.
• Create regular and ad hoc reports and visualizations for stakeholders.
