Job summary
Vishay Intertechnology, Inc. in San Jose, CA, seeks a Global Director of Quality Reliability and Failure Analysis to lead the worldwide reliability and FA program for Discrete Si, SiC and power ICs.
The role directs a global team, defines standards, collaborates with R&D and operations, and interfaces with JEDEC/AECQ. A PhD or Master''s, 15+ years in semiconductor quality and 5+ years in wide-bandgap tech are required.
Qualifications
- PhD or Master in electronics engineering or related field.
- 15+ years in quality and reliability at semiconductor level.
- 5+ years in wide‑bandgap power tech, preferably SiC.
- Experience leading global reliability testing teams for SiC devices.
- Strong statistics and design of experiments knowledge.
- Knowledge of TCAD tools for device simulation.
- Excellent leadership and problem‑solving abilities.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the Global Reliability and Failure Analysis function to implement quality systems and policies.
- Address key customer issues to meet quality standards and objectives.
- Review engineering designs with R&D to ensure quality and reliability requirements.
- Direct global reliability and FA teams to ensure coverage of quality functions.
- Represent MOSFET division in JEDEC and AECQ communities.
- Lead R&D, NPI and HVM quality/reliability projects and present results to stakeholders.
