Job summary

ALO in California seeks a Director of Product Integrity Technical & Compliance to lead quality and regulatory compliance across the global supply chain for apparel, footwear, and accessories. This role ensures development, production and distribution meet industry standards and regulatory requirements, enhancing product integrity and customer trust.

Focus areas include traceability, material validation, sustainability, testing protocols, audits, labeling standards, and RSL/PRSL management,

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Textile Technology or related field; Master’s preferred.
• 10+ years in quality and regulatory compliance within apparel.
• Expertise in RSL, Cotton Origin Verification, sustainability practices.
• Experience with supplier management and third-party testing coordination.
• Strong leadership and cross-functional influence; excellent communication.

Responsibilities

• Lead regulatory policies, SOPs, and cross-team compliance memos.
• Partner with Raw Materials Development on new materials for seasons.
• Oversee RSL/PRSL requirements for global product compliance.
• Perform risk assessments to pre-empt regulatory issues.
• Create a compliance framework with raw material tolerances.
• Develop and manage testing protocols and vendor lab oversight.
• Validate materials (cotton, wool, silk, sustainable options).
• Coordinate with Legal and industry groups on upcoming regs.
• Mentor and develop your team to drive change and growth.
